Come and learn a stitch that is not seen very often in North America
but is still practiced in parts of Africa today. The Pondo stitch origins
have been attributed to the Zulu tribe in Africa. It creates a fabric not
unlike right angle weave but sturdier. You have the option of making
either Bracelet A
(Fire Polished Beads) or Bracelet B (Size 8 seed beads
in 3 colors)
. Both bracelets are made using Pondo stitch, the difference
in look comes entirely from the bead types used.
