Here's a fun class that will teach or refresh you in many metalworking
techniques! You will learn how to texture metal, make a handmade bezel,
soldering a bezel to the backplate, sawing, filing, finishing and polishing,
setting a stone or element in a bezel, creating a handmade bail, adding
embellishments, wire wrapping. Time to play!

Soldering Station Setup Includes:
Charcoal block and/or Fiber brick
Cookie sheet or Pan
Butane torch w/fuel
Cross-locking tweezers
Flux and Brush
Tweezers (fine tip)
Copper tongs
Wire Cutters or Solder cutters
Easy, Medium, and Hard Solders
Soldering pick
Materials Needed:
(Class Kit available day of class -  
Minimum kit fee $50)

Kit includes:
-24g Sterling sheet, 24g copper sheet
-Bezel wire to fit (3/32" or 1/8")
-1' or so of sterling 20g round wire (for
embellishments and ear wires)
-Sterling half round (minimum 12g) or
copper wire for bail and ring for
dangling embellishments
-Sterling or copper chain
-Clasp of choice
-Embellishments to dangle (beads,
charms, etc.)

If you choose to rent a soldering
station, please bring a tote with
basic tools as we do not have
enough for everyone to borrow
from the shop. You should always
bring a standard set of tools
appropriate to the class you
are taking.

To sign up for a class you may register online, come into the shop, or call us!  Students must be a minimum of 13
years old to participate, or twelve years old if taken with a paying adult.
If you sign up online for a class less than 24 hours in advance you MUST call the
shop and speak to an associate for availability.
Payment for class is due when you sign up.  You must come early to purchase needed supplies. Students must
have all necessary supplies/tools and be ready when the class begins.
 Walk-ins are welcome if space is still
available and if supplies have been pre-purchased.
Class will begin on time.  No one will be admitted late to class.
Late-comers must reschedule for another class. A refund will not be given.  If you cannot attend your scheduled class,
you must call us 24 hours in advance to cancel and we will gladly refund your money.  
If you fail to show up for a class, your class fee will be forfeited.
